perennials

Perennials are plants with a life cycle of more than 2 years or simply put, plants that come back year after year.

Herbaceous perennials are plants with non-woody stems that die down to the ground each year at the onset of winter. Evergreen perennials keep their leaves over winter and will still appear green in the spring. These perennials should never be cut other than removing finished flower stems or dead leaves.

As shown below there are perennials for every aspect; sun, shade, wet, dry, acidic soil and alkaline soil.

We sell a huge selection of perennials including over 150 varieties of hostas and many varieties of heuchera. Every week we receive fresh shipments from 3 to 5 of our most reliable growers. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we will do our best to source it out and bring it in for you.
